How do I subscribe to the service?

To subscribe to the BMW AG service, click on the "Contact" button and follow the directions. It only takes a few minutes to subscribe to the service. Your telephone number and chat history is the only data saved. If you no longer wish to participate, you can unsubscribe at any time by sending a message to the sender with the words "Stop” or “Delete all data”. Recipients must be registered WhatsApp Messenger users. When you install a messenger such as WhatsApp, you accept the terms and conditions and privacy policy of the respective provider. BMW AG has no influence whatsoever on these rules.


Where is my data processed?

Your mobile phone number will be collected and processed by our technical service provider, Whatsperformance GmbH, which will use this data solely for the purposes of operating the WhatsApp Messenger Service and sending out our material. This data will not be evaluated. Whatsperformance GmbH is an independent German service company and is not affiliated with WhatsApp Inc. Your data will only be processed in Germany.


How safe is my data?

We have concluded a separate agreement with our service provider, Whatsperformance GmbH, allowing data processing on our behalf under Art. 28 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation, which defines the technical and organisational measures. Other users are unable to see your telephone number.


Can I respond to messages?
